Tingindo plastico

Mensagem por bozoca »

Ae pessoal......
nas andanças pela net, achei um tutorial de como se tingir plastico....não é la essas coisas, mas é interessante:

http://www.ee0r.com/proj/dyepyramids.html

tb achei um forum na qual um cara perguntava como se tingia frisbee hahaeehaeah
Vai lendo q ta de facil entendimento ahaheeaheah

I am looking for a way to dye plastic frisbees in a tie dye fashion, but I
can't get the plstic to accept the dye. I know people do this cheaply and
using household products, but they are very secretive about it. See
www.deadeyediscs.com/discs.html for examples of this dye style. I have
tried alcohol, vinegar, and heating but the plastic still won't absorb the
dye. Is there a way to soften the plastic to a state where it will accept
the dye, or do I need a special industrial dye (sharpie marker ink). Is
there a way to set it permanently and waterproof as well.

Thank you!
Chad

Chad,

This was a challenging question. You should be able to use Rit dye to
change the color of the Frisbee. Rit dye can be found at supermarket,
likely in the laundry section. Rit dye contains a combination of
different types of dyes that work on different materials. It is kind of a
shotgun approach to finding a dye that works for your particular
application. The trick is to bring the temperature of the dyeing solution
to close to boiling.

After searching the net for information on tie-dyeing Frisbees, the
closest thing I came up with was a lacrosse site that had information on
dyeing the heads of lacrosse sticks
(www.tonabricks.com/elacrosse/stech9.html). They also use Rit dye and use
tape, glue and cooking spray to make designs.

I hope this works for you.

é isso.........te mais aeeeeeeeeee
